摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of incongruous playing expression during sound issuance of musical notes which are inputted by beating, by synthesizing one of two musical note generating channels detected by a detection means, with a sound from the other one of the two musical notes generating channels while stopping the sound generation of the other musical note generating channel. CONSTITUTION:In a beat processing device for processing a beat input to an electronic musical instrument having a plurality of musical notes generating channels, one of two sound generating channels detected by a detecting means 20 is synthesized with a sound from the other one of the channels. In this synthesis, the values or envelope levels of sounds generated from the sound generation channels are added together. That is, the sound generating channels interpolate envelope levels in accordance with a desired value indicating an envelope level to be attained by the next time, and a rate indicating a variation in the envelope level per predetermined time, which are given by a CPU 22, so as to generate a smooth envelope in order to control the amplitude of a music node signal.
