<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an optically active butylamine expected as a raw material for an antiviral agent by optically resolving a cyclobutylamine of racemic modification. CONSTITUTION:A racemic modification of a compound shown by formula I (R<1> and R<2> are H or protecting group), for example, is obtained by treating (1RS, 2RS, 3SR)-2,3-bis(hydroxymethyl)-1-bicyclobutylamine with an optically active N-acylphenylglycine such as N-acetyl-L-phenylglycine to form corresponding to two diastereomer salts, optically resolving, decomposing a crystallized diastereomer salt and isolating, for example, (1R,2R,3S)-2,3-bis (hydroxymethyl)-1- cyclobutylamine. Various kinds of optically active carbon-ring oxetanocin such as 9[(IR,2R,3S)-2,-bis)hydroxymethyl)-1-cyclobutyl]-guanine expected as an antiviral agent is obtained from the compound.</p> |
