<p>PURPOSE:To measure a direct, current high voltage in the contactless manner and non-rotating state by detecting the Coulomb's force acting between an electrode to which the direct current high voltage is applied and a detecting electrode as the change of the weight of the detecting electrode, measuring the same by a scale and operating. CONSTITUTION:Before a voltage is started to be measured, tone weight of a detecting electrode 3 is measured by a scale 5. The measuring value is input to a zero point correcting circuit 6. When a voltage from a direct current high voltage source 1 is applied to an electrode 2, the Coulomb's force based on the voltage of the source 1 acts between the electrodes 2 and 3, so that the electrode 3 is attracted toward the electrode 2. The force acting to the electrode 3 at this time is weight value of the electrode 3 is subtracted from the input value. The operating result is the Coulomb's force. The result is sent to an operating circuit 7, and a square root is operated. The operating value of the circuit 7 is proportional to the voltage of the power source 1.
