<p>PURPOSE:To install a long stretching work to a body to be assembled always in the specified installed condition by once fixing the work on a mounting mechanism which is provided separately from the body assembled. CONSTITUTION:A front bumper FB fed from a front bumper stock part 108 to the receiving position P2 of a front bumper supply device 106 is fixed to a mounting mechanism 112 in the quite same condition as that in which it is installed on a car body B. This is automatically transported to the supply position P1 with the transporting motion generated by a transporting mechanism 110. Then No.1 robot 102 is actuated to grasp the front bumper FB fixed in the mounting mechanism 112, and in this grasped condition, only the fixed state of the front bumper FB is disengaged. The No.1 robot 102 removes the front bumper FB from the supply position P1, carries it to the front of the car body B, and install it there. Finally the front bumper FB installed at the front of the car body B is secured by No.2 robot 104.</p> |
