BATCHWISE ACTIVATED SLUDGE TREATING DEVICE FOR SEWAGE

PURPOSE:To obtain a batchwise activated sludge treating device capable of reducing the number of times for start-up and stopping operation of both an air blower and a sewage feed pump and performing intermittent aeration and efficiently performing treatment. CONSTITUTION:In a batchwise activated sludge treating device, an inflow and agitation stage of sewage, an aeration and agitation stage and a discharge stage are successively performed by time control in a single treatment tank. This single treatment tank is partitioned into two pieces of tank 1A and 1B by a partition wall 6 having an opening part. The main pipeline of an air blower is blanched and the blanched pipes are connected to the respective tanks. Stop valves 8A and 8B are provided to the upper parts of the branched pipelines 5A and 5B. Underwater agitators 4A and 4B are provided to the lower parts thereof. The lower parts of the stop valves are connected to an inflow pipe of sewage. Check valves 9A and 9B are provided to the inflow pipe of sewage.
