PURPOSE:To provide a wiring board, wherein in spite of using a metallic substrate, the electrical reliability of its connector section is high, and its freedom of bending is high, and further, it is possible to make it into a multilayer base board. CONSTITUTION:A flexible wiring board, wherein a polyimide sheet 15 is used as an insulation sheet of a flexible substrate 11, and wiring patterns 16a are formed on an electronic parts mounting section 11a of the flexible substrate 11, which is used for mounting electronic parts 13a, 13b on it, and wiring patterns 16b are formed on a lead section 11b of the flexible substrate 11 too, which is used for connecting the flexible wiring board with external circuits, and further, only the electronic parts mounting section is thermocompression- bonded to a metallic substrate 12 via a thermoplastic polyimide layer 14. |
