PURPOSE:To provide a surface-treating agent preventing decorative coating materials from plasticizing, improved in stain resistance and capable of forming plurally layered coating film structures not causing the generation of cracks, by adding a specific amount of a chlorinated polyolefin to a specific one liquid type modified epoxy resin solution. CONSTITUTION:The objective treating agent comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of an one liquid type modified epoxy resin solution having a mol.wt. of 10000-100000 and a solid content of 4.0-50% and (B) a chlorinated polyolefin, the epoxy resin solution being prepared by adding (ii) a polyisocyanate as a cross-linking agent to (i) a linear epoxy resin solution having structural units of formula I (R is 2-4C straight chain saturated hydrocarbon, group of formula II-IV, etc,). |
