MINOXIDIL-CONTAINING HAIR GROWTH AGENT

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a hair growth agent capable of exhibiting synergistic effects of hair growth action and excellent in hair growing effects without any skin irritancy by using minoxidil and a specific herb medicine extract in combination. CONSTITUTION:A hair growth agent containing minoxidil and a saffron extract (e.g. an extract obtained by drying a stigma and the upper part of a style of a saffron and extracting the dried stigma and upper part of the style with ethyl alcohol or its aqueous solution) or a Gardeniae Fructus extract (e.g. an extract obtained by extracting a fruit of Cape jasmine with ethyl alcohol or its aqueous solution) as active ingredients. The minoxidil is blended in an amount of 0.2-1.0wt.% based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical and the saffron extract or Gardeniae Fructus extract is blended in an amount of preferably 1-10wt.% based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical in the case of a tincture of the herb medicine extracted with, e.g. a 30% aqueous solution of ethyl alcohol.
