摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance combustibility in ones in which three suction valves are arranged on a side across the center line of a cylinder and a plural number of exhaust valves on the other side by forming a communicating chamber at a position close to the suction valves on a suction passage, letting it perform fuel injection and preventing the adhesion of fuel on the wall surface of the suction passage. CONSTITUTION:In ones in which two exhaust valves 18 and three suction valves 20(20a-20c) are arranged across the center line of a cylinder alpha on its both sides per a cylinder of a cylinder head 12 and they are opened and closed with a double overhead camshaft type moving valve mechanism, No.1 and No.2 suction passages 40a, 40b are formed in the suction pipe 38 of each cylinder, and their downstream sides are connected to a communicating chamber 46 formed in the cylinder head 12. A fuel injection valve 48 is arranged on top of the communicating chamber 46. Furthermore, the valve shaft end of the suction valve 20 and the supporting point 28a of the suction side swing arm 28 are respectively brought closer to the cylinder center line alpha as compared with the valve shaft end of the exhaust valve 18 and the supporting point 26a of the exhaust side swing arm 26 and a fuel injection valve 48 is arranged on the outside and below the supporting point 28a, to miniaturize.
