Cover assembly intended to be mounted around a bottle (1) and comprising an external cover part (7) for the said bottle having a chimney (9) surrounding the neck (3) of the bottle and a fixing ring (11) exhibiting first locking means (13) for locking the ring to the said chimney and second locking means (15) for locking the ring to the neck of the bottle from the outside. According to the invention, the ring (11) surrounds the chimney (9) for locking the latter from the outside, this chimney exhibiting lateral openings (19) through which pass the said second locking means (15) of the ring for its forced elastic fixing under a shoulder (17) of the neck of the bottle.
