<p>A method is disclosed for the dehydrogenation of cyclic or poly-cyclic olefins, specifically mono- and bi-cyclic terpenes and hydroaromatics, using alkali metals alone or sodium conjoined with amines, which alkali metals and sodium are present in catalytic amounts. The method leads to economical production of dehydrogenated terpene and aromatic products.</p> |
