The invention relates to a magneto-electric device, with non-point-like electrodes, causing electrically conducting liquids to circulate in a conduit, in a range of temperatures lying between that of the solidification and that of the evaporation of the liquid. It conists of a parallelepipedal enclosure in which two metal electrodes are inserted into two parallel walls. This enclosure is placed in the gap of an electromagnet producing a magnetic field the direction of which is perpendicular to the walls not containing the electrodes. The invention is aimed essentially at replacing pumps and other machines with rotating parts by an appliance in which all the component parts remain immobile. All liquids which are more or less good electrical conductors are involved; however, the invention is aimed only at the circulation of liquids with ionic conductivity, called electrolytic solutions. <IMAGE>
