PURPOSE:To attain the continuous operation of this computer device and to improve its reliability by arranging respective host computers and communication control devices by dual constitution and settling an information exchange system for the dual constitution. CONSTITUTION:The host computers Ha, Hb and the communication control devices Ca, Cb are connected based upon dual constitution and the information exchanging system of the dual constitution is settled so that even if one system is failed, continuous operation is attained by the other system. Namely when one of the devices Ca, Cb is failed, information transmitting means L0, L2, L4 are used for information exchange and information transmitting means L1, L3 are turned to unlinked states. When one of the host computers Ha, Hb is failed, the means L3 is used for information exchange, the means L4 is held at a linked state and the means L0 to L2 are controlled to unlinked states. Thereby even when one of host computers or communication control devices runs down, continuous operation can be attained and the reliability of the system can be improved. |
