A main receiver and an auxiliary receiver are capable of simultaneously receiving on the channel which is specified for them by an automatic supervision unit, the auxiliary receivers being used by the automatic supervision unit to poll various channels. A first output of the main receiver serves as reference for a signal processing system which estimates the coherence between the signals at the output of the auxiliary receiver and at the output of the main receiver, this estimate being sent to the automatic supervision unit which uses it, over the course of time, to select a channel in which the reception is optimal.
