DEVICE FOR REMOVING PROCESSING FAILURE PART OF WEB MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To reduce an operational burden of removing a processing failure part and to keep information relating to a processing failure part occurrence position. CONSTITUTION:Winding information in a host computer 70 is inputted to a terminal equipment 40 through a computer 60. A web material 3 is set on a pay-out part 10. The material payed out of this part is cut by a cutting part 20 and taken up by a take-up part 30. A counting part 11 counts a pay-out distance of the material. A counting part 31 counts a take-up distance of the material. A processing failure part is removed between the pay-out part 10 and the cutting part 20. During the removal operation, the counting part 31 stops counting, and only the counting part 11 continues counting. The terminal equipment 40 recognizes the content of the removal operation based on these counting values, thus recording the position and length of the removed processing failure part.
