PURPOSE:To give a satisfactory strength to a sintering through structuring it compositely with a noble metal and enhance the critical current density and its mag. field characteristics by providing a coating layer consisting of a powder of oxide type superconductor in a position outside of a powder of noble metal. CONSTITUTION:A coating layer 2 consisting of a powder of oxide type superconductor is furnished outside of a powder 1 consisting of a noble metal. Examples of this noble metal are Ag, Au, Pt, or alloy thereof. The alloy has a high melting point, examples being Ag-Pt alloy, Ag-Pd alloy, etc., which is capable of being equipped with a printing function for magnetic flux as a pinning center. There is no type restriction for the powder of oxide superconductor constituting the coating layer 2, preferably being Y-series oxide superconductor or Ba oxide superconductor. When sintering of the superconductive material is to be made, it undergoes a press rolling process or press processing by the use of a device such as pinch roll, followed by sintering process. Thus a satisfactory strength is given to the sintering owing to its being structured compositely with noble metal, and the critical current density and its mag. field characteristics can be enhanced. |
