PURPOSE:To reconcile the check of occurrence of a knocking phenomenon in each of plural cylinders installed in an engine and the decrease of blowby quantity into the side of an exhaust passage part of fuel, in an intake system being made up of containing an intake passage part where a mechanical supercharger in the engine is installed. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection valve 38 is set up in only one side (39) out of both first and second individual intake passages 39, 40 connecting a cylinder 6 and a common intake passage part 10. A point of time when a first intake valve 20 corresponding to the first individual intake passage 39 starts its transition from the closed state to the opened state is made so as to be tardier than a point of time when a second intake valve 21 corresponding to the second individual intake passage 40 starts its transition from the closed state to the opened state, while subsequently, a point of time when the first intake valve 20 completes its transition from the opened state to the closed state is made so as to be tardier than a point of time when the second intake valve 21 completes its transition from the opened state to the closed state. |
