<p>PURPOSE:To prevent cracks from being generated from the ends of sipes opened to the side part of a tire and the side walls of a longitudinal groove. CONSTITUTION:With sipes 6 one end of each being opened to the tire-side part 5 or the side walls 4 of a longitudinal groove 3, and the other end of which is a blind end, in the shoulder area 11 of a tread 1 of a tire, the sipes 6 are bent an obtuse angle in the circumferential direction of the tire in the neighborhood of opening ends 8 of siping-bottoms on the side part 5 or on the side walls 4, and in the neighborhood of siping blind ends 7 on the tread surface 2 of the tread 1, and thus stress concentration to the siping ends of the sipings 6 can be prevented and the generation of cracks 9 can also be prevented.</p> |
