PURPOSE:To judge quality of soil at real time at the time of thrust by utilizing vibration which is generated at tip of excavation or minute vibration of rotary torque of a rotary excavator. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic vibration of rotary torque of a rotary excavator 3 of a thrust tip device 1 which is thrusted in soil is detected by a pressure fluctuation detector 4. This signal is amplified, converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter 6, and sent to a digital computer 7. The computer 7 operates and processes information on the quality of soil based on the characteristics of waveform from the detector 4, and the result of operation is displayed on a display device 8 at real time to obtain information unique to the quality of soil which is scarcely affected by thrust. At this time, in the operation and processing of the information on the quality of soil which is executed by the digital computer 7, the quality of soil is judged in comparison with the characteristics which show the conversion value obtained by applying to the function of F(f, r, 1)=f*1/(r*mean(1)*10 in the abscissa and power in the ordinate. Here, (f) is a frequency of minute vibration of rotary torque, and (r) is the number of revolutions of the rotary excavator. |
