PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a clutch by sliding the clutch to reduce the rotating number of the input shaft side' having a small inertia. CONSTITUTION:Multiple sun gears 5, 10, 11 and carriers 3, 12, 16 and ring gears 6, 13, 17 of multiple epicyclic gears are selectively fixed by clutches 7, 8, 15, 18 to change the speed. At the time of changing the high speed, engagement of the clutch 18 of the output shaft 20 side is cancelled to slide the clutch 8 of the input shaft 2 side. After reducing the speed of the input shaft 2 side, the clutch 18 of the output shaft 20 side is engaged to reduce a load of the clutch. |
