PURPOSE:To prevent a load from stopping operation entirely even if a switch is inoperative and to make it possible to employ a small and inexpensive switch. CONSTITUTION:A power converting section 5 converts power, fed from a power supply 1a, into power for driving a load 2a. Power conversion is carried out through switching operation of a switch. At least two switches S1, S2 are employed while being connected in parallel. Respective switches S1, S2 are turned ON, OFF with different ON intervals. The power converting section 5 is operated with an ON interval equal to the total ON intervals of the switches. |
