PURPOSE:To relax the effect of a disturbing wave by controlling share of gain of a radio signal inputted to a reception section based on the result of detection of a frame synchronizing signal and a group synchronizing signal included in each frame. CONSTITUTION:A transmission frame signal received by an antenna 1 is amplified and demodulated and converted into a digital data signal and inputted to a decoder 4. The decoder 4 detects a frame synchronizing signal and a group synchronizing signal and compares them with those in a self selection calling number stored in a P-ROM 5 and outputs an alert signal to an amplifier 6 when they are coincident. The amplifier 6 sounds a speaker 7 to inform a call to a carrier. Furthermore, a gain control circuit 11 is provided between an antenna 1 and a reception section 2 to forcibly change the share of the input gain in a radio signal inputted to the reception section 2 based on ON/OFF control signal from the decoder 4. As a result, the effect of a disturbing wave is relaxed and the reception ratio of a desired wave is improved. |
