The system of interdependent jammers according to the invention applies to two antagonistic tackles which, on board sailing ships, position the sheet traveller (25) of the main sail on a rail (26) transverse to the axis of the ship. It comprises two jammers/pivoting pulleys (27b, 27t) located at the ends of the tackles, connected by a mechanical link such as a connecting rod (17) designed so as to set up a one-to-one link between the angular positions of the two jammers.
