INFRARED RAY DATA TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent the adverse effect due to outside infrared ray noise by providing a trailer part to the prescribed part in each frame of a data bit pulse train. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of a data transmission means 30 capable of outputting various kinds of data as an infrared ray signal with its data bit pulse modulated and a data reception means 32 obtaining the prescribed data from the data bit pulse obtained by receiving and demodulating the infrared ray signals outputted from this data output means 30. The data transmission means 30 is provided with a trailer part due to a prescribed length of non-signal section to the terminal part of each frame of the data bit pulse train or a section with the prescribed frequency signal added. On the other hand, a data reception means 32 discriminates transfer data and noise by the discrimination of the section corresponding to the trailer part about the detection output obtained through reception and demodulation. Based on this discrimination, a proper encode output can be performed.
