PURPOSE:To offer an optical pickup device which is always normally operated by reducing the amounts of dust accumulated on the surface of an objective lens. CONSTITUTION:A dust-proofing wall 7 is provided on the edge face of an actuator cover 3' with which an actuator 3 of an optical pickup device 4 which operates the reproduction and/or recording of data recorded on the disk 1 is covered, opposed to the above-mentioned disk, so as to be orthogonally crossing the proceeding direction of a beam spot prepared and irradiated on the above- mentioned disk at the side of the proceeding direction of the pertinent beam spot. |
