PURPOSE:To provide a control device of automatic transmission for controlling the speed change appropriately on the basis of the input torque to the transmission. CONSTITUTION:A control device for automatic transmission has an input torque detecting means, which consists of a torque detecting sensor 11 for detecting the input torque of a transmission of a multistage transmission mechanism 1 or the like, and a specified value storage means 142 for storing the specified value data of the input torque of a transmission, which is set previously. Furthermore, this control device is provided with a comparing means 144 for comparing the input torque value, which is detected by the input torque detecting means, and the specified value, which is set on the basis of the data stored in the specified value storage means 142, and a speed change control means 145 for controlling the speed change on the basis of a result of the comparison of the comparing means 145. |
