PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material with improved properties. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material consists of an undercoat layer containing a plastic cubic or ellipsoidal cubic hollow particle, and a thermal color development layer containing main ingredients such as leuco dye and a developer which develops the color of leuco dye thermally laminated sequentially. The average particle diameter of the plastic cubic hollow particle is 2.0 to 20mum, and its degree of hollowness is 80% or higher. In addition, the thermal recording material is highly sensitive, capable of excellent dot regeneration and is elasticity-rich. |
