PURPOSE:To obtain the subject product, capable of ingesting dietary fiber tending to be in short supply and remarkably improving absorptivity of calcium in vivo by blending a prescribed amount of maltitol together with the dietary fiber and calcium. CONSTITUTION:The objective product is obtained by blending (A) 1 pt.wt. dietary fiber (e.g. wheat bran or powdery cellulose) with (B) 0.01-1 pt.wt. calcium (e.g. calcium lactate) and (C) 0.1-20 pts.wt. maltitol. Specifically, the aforementioned respective ingredients are preferably blended in a raw material for a food and drink such as cookie, juice, candy or soup and preparing the food and drink such as the cookie or juice according to a conventional method. |
