<p>PURPOSE:To allow a television broadcast signal recording and reproducing device to automatically record a broadcast program even when the attention or the program reservation of the favorite broadcast program is not operated. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 14 prepares favorite program data (q) of a user by tuned data (n) from a tuned data memory 19, and recorded data (o) from a recorded data memory 20, and supplies the data (q) to a favorite program data memory 22. The favorite program data memory 22 temporarily records the favorite program data (q) from the control circuit 14, reads out the data (q) based on the control of the control circuit 14, and supplies the data (q) to the control circuit 14. The control circuit 14 allows a recording and reproducing circuit 16 to record the above mentioned broadcast program, when the time clocked by a clock circuit 18 is coincident with the start time of a time zone indicated by the favorite program data (q), and when the user doesn't see and record the favorite program.</p> |
