<p>The present invention relates to street furniture devices such as, for example, access control devices. A street furniture device according to the invention includes a casing (4) fixed rigidly by at least a first linkage means to at least one support (3) of elongate shape which is itself fixed rigidly to a foundation (7) by its base (3a); according to the invention, the first linkage means includes at least a first means (5) for fastening the casing onto the support, which means is capable of being broken when the street furniture device is subjected to an impact of a predetermined intensity.
