A fixed structure (1) delimits a space of transit to a room to be protected, a cylindrical hollow part (4) with an opening (4a) is rotatable inside the structure. Control means reply to the presence of a person (15) in the space of transit, by rotating the cylindrical hollow part (4) from a first entering to a second exiting position if no metallic object is detected, otherwise they reply to the presence of a metallic object by interrupting the entrance procedure and actuating a signalling device inviting the person to exit. After the person has got out, the cylindrical hollow part is rotated to an intermediate position, in which its opening is closed by a wall of the fixed structure itself in order to check by means of this rotation, if an object has remained inside the space of transit; for instance on the basis or the roof thereof. |
