Process for transferring two or more sterile liquids from enclosed systems into a container for receiving all components, by means of a double cannula, both of whose spired points are each located in separate, enclosed, sterile chambers, and for the discharge procedure are inserted by penetration of each container closure under sterile conditions. To transfer liquid, application is made of a double cannula, separable at about its middle region into two enclosed halves, where firstly the assembled cannula is joined to the receiving container and then the supplying container is mounted on the remaining free pointed spire, and one of the two halves of the cannula remains affixed to the receiving container throughout the requisite series of transfers, each of the supply containers being provided with its own other half cannula unit able to be exchangeably mounted on the first half unit. The double cannula is constructed so that during withdrawal, each other half cannula and the supplying container both remain enclosed and sterile, and only during offering up other half cannula to the half cannula associated with the receiving container is the flow path thruogh the cannula established.
