The gaming machine replaces the traditional `fruit' machine type format in which rotating drums have symbols around the periphery with a display on flat LCD panel (5). Located along the lower edge of the panel are a number of pressure sensitive fields (6-11) that allows the user to select different game functions. Built into the unit are functions for a range of different type games that have associated display functions, e.g. symbols, playing cards etc. ADVANTAGE - Provides flexibility for wide range of games.
