摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain lithium aluminate with greater surface area, by mixing Li salt and Al salt with a reaction agent to synthesize two or more compounds for Li followed by calcination. CONSTITUTION:The objective lithium aluminate can be obtained by dissolving lithium salt and aluminum salt in a solvent and mixing with a reaction agent to synthesize two or more compounds for lithium followed by calcination. Thus, said lithium compound such as carbonate and hydroxide are synthesized, and the calcination at temperatures higher than the melting points of said compounds will result in the formation of the objective lithium aluminate through a plural of reaction with time delay, thus leading to greater surface area of the lithium aluminate. In this production process, a gel-like alumina hydrate is first dehydrated into alumina with large specific surface area, and the reactions by which several lithium compounds are respectively converted into lithium aluminate occur in succession. Thus, by carrying out the reactions stepwise with time delay, the particle growth will be suppressed to produce the objective lithium aluminate with the fine particles retained.
