The safety barriers (2) are based on beams formed from two parallel members (6) with diagonal cross links. Uprights are formed either within the beam or at beam connections. Braced sections run perpendicularly inwards, where mounted counterweights support the barrier. The whole unit rests on a series of wheels (22) aligned parallel to the outer edge to allow the unit to be moved. USE/ADVANTAGE - Safety barrier unit can be moved without disassembly to allow access to whole of roof area of building.
