At the opposite end of each buffer vessel (1) to an immersion pipe (4) delivering hydrogen or sulphur dioxide through the layer of liquid (3) is a diaphragm (5), coupled by a guide plunger (8) in the vessel cover (7) to a smaller-diameter injection plunger (9). A radial drilling (13) through the latter connects a feed pipe (14) for one of the media to the injection pipe (15) when the diaphragm is in the topmost position. From the injection pipe a drilling (16) immediately after the plunger leads to a chamber (10) above the latter, being connected to it when pressure from the combustion chamber via a differential-pressure valve on the injection plunger increases. The drilling is shut off from the chamber when pressure is released from the latter by a solenoid impulse valve, working in conjunction with the differential-pressure valve. ADVANTAGE - Ensures sulphur dioxide injection before than of hydrogen and in a greater volume.
