Glove (1) includes layer(s) (8,9) of material reducing abrasion in a partic. area. The layer (8,9) is produced by applying a liq coating material (e.g. silicon) on the raw material of the glove (1). The material is hardened and fixed to the glove material (leather) automatically. Prepn. comprises using stencil to mark out the areas to be protected. ADVANTAGE - Protected simply c.f. previous gloves.
