The joint can be a solid body (15) made of wood, laminated wood, metal, resin or plastics. The cross-section or base surface can be a circle or polygon and the longitudinal section through the centre can be a triangle or trapeze. The side faces of the joint can have bores (2) possibly threaded, ending in or passing through the material. The rods which are fixed on the joint by their sides facing the inside of the support structure can be secured by e.g. screws. The angle of the cone or pyramid which the sides form with the real or imaginary apex corresponds to the inclines which the rods occupy relative to each other in the structure. USE - For lightweight support structures.
