The toothbrush has an extremely thin handle (G) on a plane parallel to the bristles' top surface. Both sides of the handle have square and smooth-surfaced knobs (Dn) sticking up near the thumb-support (D). The handle has a thin plate-spring near the thumb-support which bends onto the teeth/gums before reaching the maximum force applied to cleaning the teeth. The handle bends only on a plane normal for the base surface of the thumb support. With more cleaning force applied, the thumb support knobs come nearer to the top surface (G1) by lightly stroking the thumb, index finger and middle finger to create a sensor warning effect. ADVANTAGE - The elastic toothbrush has a double sensor for the force applied and uses 50 to 80 percent less material.
