Self-propelling devices other than the rocket and the jet. Systems capable of applying, to the transporter vehicle, self-propelling forces without losing the masses actuated with the aid of electromagnetic devices, or having straight and toric pistons (1), this being achieved with the aid of explosions, detonations, compressions of compressed gas, elastic systems, rotating flywheels, straight pistons associated with toric pistons (1) ensuring the precipitation of the burnt gases, this being for the car. Said device does not lose the forces given to the cylinder heads and those lost on the crankshaft at bottom dead centre. The forces created by the change in direction of rotations of the pistons (1), of rotation of the flywheels and of the semi-rotations of masses (2) increase the bearing point without which there is no self-propulsion by reaction. The forces on the cylinder heads are integrally self-propulsive; flywheels (10) are also capable of applying self-propulsive forces to the transporting vehicle. The vast quantity of energy which can be stored in a flywheel, the stopping by this flywheel, and the throwing-forwards of pistons butting against elastic systems are known. Pistons loaded with less energy when they butt against the flywheel therefore no longer have anything beneficial. Two-stroke self-propelling engines also give a rotary movement; the lubrication is similar to that of four-stroke engines. The propulsion given by the aircraft jet and the rocket only has an acceptable efficiency once a certain speed has been obtained, not for these propulsion units, the bearing point not being constituted by the inertia of a gaseous mass discharged to the rear, but of heavy pistons stopped in their projection and charged with a vast quantity of kinetic energy, because these engines are very probably capable of using detonation.
