The screw is desinged as a bush with external thread set eccentrically in a rotatable slit bush which has an inner cone. The end bearing face of the rotatable slit bush can have a flat bearing face or a conical face. The slit bush (3) pref. has circumferential grooves. A linear ball bearing can be set inside the externally threaded bush. The slit bush (3) can be provided in a body (1) containing the adjustable shaft which is adjusted by turning the slit bush so that the screw (4) is turned widening out the bush and fixing the shaft in position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be used where the parts to be adjusted are set inside the adjustable screw.
