The angle sensor has at least two coils (11-13), several coupling core parts (21-24) and a ferromagnetic coupling element (6) mounted on a shaft with which the coupling between the coils can be varied depending on angle. The coils are annular and the coupling core parts are annular or annular sector-shaped, are coaxial to the shaft, and are stacked axially. The coupling element is mounted inside the inner dia. of the coil parts and extends over the entire axial length of the stacked parts. ADVANTAGE - Simple, compact transducer operates contactlessly and hence practically without wear.
