<p>An adhesive-forming composition comprising: I. a prepolymer component having (i) an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer obtainable by reacting an excess of at least one polyisocyanate, an oligomer or polymer thereof, or mixtures of these, with a polyol having a number average molecular weight of from 400 to 9000, and (ii) 0-60% by weight of filler; II. a curative component having (iii) cross-linking polyol having number average molecular weight from 400 to 10000; (iv) a catalyst or initiator; (v) 0-60% by weight of filler, and (vi) a polyamine for thickening, characterised in that the polyamine comprises (a) a primary aromatic polyamine having the formula <CHEM> where R1 is <CHEM> or is the same as any of R2 to R6, and where R2 to R6 and R7 to R11 are independently selected from: H, NH2, C1 to C5 alkyl, and phenyl; A is an alkylene hydrocarbon containing 0 to 12 carbons and each molecule contains at least two NH2 groups; where R1 is not Formula II, at least 4 of R1 to R6 are not H; where R1 is Formula II and A is 1 at least 4 of R2 to R11 groups are not H, and Formula I is not diethyltoluene diamine, or (b) a primary aromatic polyamine with fused polycyclic aromatic rings having at least two NH2 groups per molecule; and having H, NH2, C1 to C5 alkyl, or phenyl groups attached to the ring carbons which are not bridge-head carbons, or (c) a mixture comprising (a) and/or (b).
