A method of producing calcium nitrate fertilizer, characterized in that the gas containing sulphur oxides and nitrogen oxides, especially combustion gas, in the first stage are contacted with a solution of a suspended matter of calcium hydroxide according to a known method, whereas the produced calcium sulphite is then oxidized to produce sulfate, and further the gas is activated in an ionising system and treated with gaseous ammonia, the products are crystallized and mixed with the products of the first stage.3. A device for producing of calcium nitrate fertilizer in the process of the purification of gas containing sulphur and nitrogen oxides, especially a combustion gas, in a system containing a liquid absorption zone, an ammonia reaction zone, and a drop separator, characterized in that between the liquid absorption zone (1) and the ammonia reaction zone (2), a system of ionising electrodes (4) is located, whereas the ammonia reaction zone (2) ended with a drop separator (3), has a mobile bed consisting of a number of meshes (16) fixed one above the other, whereas the zones (1) and (2) are connected with a crystallisation devices (10) and (9) and with a homogenisation device (11).<IMAGE>
