A tinning flux, particularly for coating printed circuits with a tin-lead alloy, based on a solution of an organic acid and polyhydric alcohol, consisting in that it contains 1.5 to 6 parts by weight of citric acid, 3 to 7 parts by weight of diethylamine hydrochloride, 4 to 15 parts by weight of ethyl glycol or glycerol, 0.1 to 0.8 parts by weight of non-ionic detergent of polyoxyethyled alkylphenol type and 700 to 1,100 parts by weight of distilled water.
