A cooling and moistening device for motor vehicles, in particular for cars, equipped with a fan, characterised in that the fan (1) is connected with a cooling and moistening unit (3) which consists of an enclosure (5) with perforated bottoms (6, 7) on the inlet side and outlet side with cooling and moistening cartridge parts (10) located between them and moistened from the water supply unit (12), whereas the cartridge parts (10) are separated from the perforated bottoms (6, 7) by means of distance holders (8, 9) and the cooling and moistening block (3) is connected by an out-feed duct (4) with the vehicle's genuine ventilation system.<IMAGE>
