A method of obtaining asphalt-rubber compounds from asphalt and inorganic fillers such as comminuted chalk, asbestos, barite and butadiene-styrene rubber with the content of styrene bound in the polymer equal to 20-25 percent, characterized in that to 100 parts by weight of asphalt, after it is melted, up to 10, preferably 0.3-3 parts by weight of rubber comminuted mechanically, or preferably in the form of latex, are introduced with mixing, which rubber contains in relation to 100 parts by weight of the polymer from 2 to 20, preferably 4-10 parts by weight of a mixture containing sodium or potassium salts of fatty acids, preferably oleic acid, and resin acids, preferably rosin disproportionated at ratios from 5:95 to 95:5, preferably from 40:50 to 80:20, and further, after a uniform mixture of asphalt and rubber is contained, up to 400, preferably 200-250 parts by weight of fillers are introduced into the mixture, and mixing is continued until a uniform compound is obtained.
