A creel frame has a series of creel pegs and yarn guide tensions on a vertical stand, opposite each other, and an arrangement for a relative change of position. Pref. the construction of the frame is from tubular support bars. The base (1) is formed with brackets (17) to hold the castors (16) which allow the frame to be moved multi-directionally. ADVANTAGE - The creel pegs, when holding the reel, are in alignment with the tension to wind off. The creel pegs swivel away from that postion in order to remove the empty, and to set a new reel in place.
