1. Method of building intersections of mining excavations, especially dog headings crossing with each other on one side at an acute angle, characterised in that from the side of the crossing excavation, on its whole width, the roof of the main excavation is secured with a flat support shored up by individual props, and from the coalface side, a permanent arch timbering is built, which are joined together to create one unit, and further, from the side of the excavation crossing, the flat support is secured by horse heads and, after the removal of props, a new excavation is driven at the same height, secured with permanent arch timbering, and the acute intersection corner is additionally reinforced with anchors and reinforced concrete wall.<IMAGE>
