The present invention relates to a spray boom consisting of a series of sections articulated on a movable machine for spraying a liquid treatment product (5) contained in a tank, each section including a spray pipe (1) provided with a series of spray nozzles (4). The present boom is characterised in that it includes a return pipe (31) in communication with each of the spray pipes (1) and which is connected to the storage tank (7) via means (33) for controlling the passage of liquid, these control means making it possible to allow the liquid to pass into the return pipe (31) when the spray nozzles are blocked, the feed with liquid to all the spray pipes being cut off, and to prevent this passage when at least one of the spray pipes (1) is fed with liquid. <IMAGE>
